I liked the movie very much. I like the Father character most. Because he sacrificed his sorrows & made his child happy. He made me to remember my father in many ways.
I liked also the mother character & the boy. When the mother (German) went with the Jewish husband she showed the love towards him & his child.
My favorite scene in the film is, Guido's translation scene. When the captain was telling rules in German, he translated it in English for his child. I couldn't control laughing on that scene.
My prediction is, the father finally caught & killed by the soldiers when he searched for Dora.(His wife) Finally the second World war ends & the Jew slaves were released. The boy reunited with his mother. I came to knew that this story is a narration of the boy. So, after some years he came to know the sacrifice of his father.
Some interesting news: This film won 4 Oscar awards. And nominated for 4 other categories. The father Guido (Roberto Benigni) won the best actor award.
Hi everyone.. The film 'life is beautiful' was really wonderful.. This is a film which is all about a jewish italian named Guido, made me to realise how a life of a jew would be in that period before second world war.. The nazi government led the Jewish people's life to sacrifice for the useless blood thirsty Hitler.. It was very hard to led a life by a Jew on that period. Guido's acting in that film was good,he was acted in both humorous and romantic way.. Meanwhile Dora too proved her love with Guido from her pleasant way of acting.. I liked that movie very much.. The charactar which attracted me the most is Guido.. Because he made things which around him as happy and beautiful.. My opinion about this story's ending is that Guido would be died by blood thirsty Nazi government.. Guido loved his son Joshua and Dora than any other things in the world... But finally his fate made him to sacrifice his life... Life is really beautiful when we make the things around us as beautiful but when we fails to do that life will be a hell.. Thanking you....

Hi ,this is SURYA NITHISH, i like that film very much..,, it was wonderful and superb. This is first time in movie that people how are being slaved by the heartless people. i came to know that was a real story , happened during the period of 2nd world war. i like the father's character on that film. my favourite scene was almost all the scenes when the jews are captured by the germans. i like also the boy's and that mother's character also. because that boy acted very well. On that jews gang, there is one doctor , who is the friend of our hero. He helped the family to escape from that place and the hero make plan to defeat jews with his less commandos . At last , hero won the fight and regain his country for cute cute cute son and his charming princess dora. ALWAYS THINK POSITIVE FRIENDS AND BE HAPPY.

Dora demands to be on the same train to join her family and is permitted to do so. In the camp, Guido hides his son from the Nazi guards, sneaks him food and tries to humor him. In an attempt to keep up Giosuѐ's spirits, Guido convinces him that the camp is just a game, in which the first person to get 1,000 points wins a tank. He tells him that if he cries, complains that he wants his mother, or says that he is hungry, he will lose points, while quiet boys who hide from the camp guards earn 1,000 points. After trying to find Dora, Guido is caught, taken away and shot dead by a Nazi guard. He is reunited with his mother, not knowing that his father has been killed. Years later, he realizes the sacrifice his father made for him, and that it was because of that sacrifice that he is still alive today.

I like the scene in which he was coping with his son when the boy asked to go home. The boy acted really well. Even in the small age, he fulfilled his character. It is really admirable. My prediction is . .. . The father was killed by the Nazis. It was not known by the son. He asked Bartalomeo (Guido's friend in the concentration camp) for his father. He didn't know that his father was killed. Battalomeo started cheating but he couldn't make it for a long time. Because he had already promised his father that he would not continue to bring up the boy. When the revolution against Hitler and Musolini blasted in Russia, they were released to be free. The boy joined with his mother. When he was 15 years old, the mother told his son about the difficulties faced by his father.

The film was beautiful as well as desolate . The person i like the most is Dora because she is a perfect example for love . This is evident from the scene , when her husband was caught by nazi's she told the nazi's that what ever happens i like to go with my husband.
The second person i like the most is Guydo because he really impress every body by his speech. He was humorous and like to keep his friends and relatives happy. This is evident from his story said to his son in the train .He said that thye are going to play a game.
Guydo and Dora is a sign of true love and sacrifice . Eventhough she knew that she is going to killed by the Blood thirsty nazi's she went along with her husband regardless of her life.
Overall the film is fantastic and it teaches us the true love of a mother and a father. So friends please trust your parents and get good name to them and make them proud that " I HAVE GOT A WONDERFUL SON"
Act 1: Guido is a beautiful character in this film i like that character very much he is not only a actor but also a good comedian Guido successfully charms Dora, even though she had been engaged to a fascist official, and gallantly retrieves her while riding on a green painted horse (the green paint on his uncle's horse was the first act of anti-Semitism that is shown in the film and really the first time you learn that Guido is Jewish). During Act I, the movie-goer almost forgets he came to see a movie about the Holocaust; all that changes in Act 2.
Act 2:
The first act successfully creates the characters of Guido and Dora; the second act delves us into the problems of the times.
Now Guido and Dora have a young son, Joshua (played by Giorgio Cantarini) who is bright, loved, and doesn't like to take baths. Even when Joshua points out a sign in a window that says Jews are not allowed, Guido makes up a story to protect his son from such discrimination. Soon the life of this warm and funny family is interrupted by deportation.
While Dora is away, Guido and Joshua are taken and placed in cattle cars - even here, Guido tries to hide the truth from Joshua. But the truth is plain to the audience - you cry because you know what is really happening and yet smile through your tears at the obvious effort Guido is making to hide his own fears and calm his young son.
Dora, who had not been picked up for deportation, chooses to board the train anyway in order to be with her family. When the train unloads at a camp, Guido and Joshua are separated from Dora. It is at this camp that Guido convinces Joshua they are to play a game. The game consists of 1,000 points and the winner gets a real military tank. The rules are made up as time goes on. The only one that is fooled is Joshua, not the audience, nor Guido. The effort and love that emanated from Guido are the messages relayed by the movie - not that the game would save your life. The conditions were real, and though the brutality was not shown as directly as in Schindler's List, it was still very much there.
MY OPINION
This to me was wonderful, the balance to comedy with the tragedy.

ReplyDelete"LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL" is a beautiful movie.This movie about how to live in a world.It tells life is enjoyable one.So we live happy. I love the hero character.Because He live any sutiation be happy.At the end of the movie hero death is not imaginable one.The love part is wonderful one.Heroine is look like beautiful.

ReplyDeleteThe movie which we saw in our lab class was really awesome i enjoyed very much....
I liked the father's character especilly. Because he made only for his son's happiness and to get rideoff his fear..
I liked specifically one scene in that movie. that is when he pretended to his son as they all were safe and happy. eventhought they were not safe and unhappy to made his son's happiness..
My prediction is that the movie will ends in a manner that GUIDO, DORA and his son will lead a happy life by fighting against nazists and succeed...
